Greetings Divine Beings!

This Friday, Jan 15 is both new moon & a solar eclipse in Capricorn, which represents a chance to leave the past behind, especially emotional issues relating to the dark father (the archetype of Darth Vader), a man unable to express his heart because his mind's fixation on goals has not been balanced by his heart's wisdom. This can play out as a pursuit to obtain power &/or material security at the cost of experiencing inner emotional security, which the integration of the opposite polarity of Cancer offers.

On a personal level, given that Venus is conjunct the eclipse in Cap, we begin the year, restructuring our lives so our needs get met reflecting greater self love in action. (Consider committing to a journey of 13 moons by attending a year of Red Tent new moon circles to understand & fulfil your emotional needs each month so you don't unconsciously wait for Mr Right or a cheesecake to do it for you!) Exacerbated by Saturn (responsibility creating maturity) in Libra (partnerships) till April 7, this will in turn cause many of us to also assess & re-structure our relationships accordingly as we gain greater awareness into where we are being over or under-responsible to others, which is further assisted by Pluto (transformation through understanding our shadow) being square Saturn (structure & the father) & ruler of Capricorn.

Being an earth sign, this may also play out structurally as pain within the right side of the body (the masculine) as old emotional stories surface enabling us to feel, shift & release dysfunctional relationships with both the inner & outer masculine.

So collectively, this new moon represents an opportunity for all of us to confront the pain we cause ourselves by living in the old paradigm of patriarchy so we may then choose to transcend it. Essentially this means balancing the polarities of feminine / masculine within us & how we live our lives.

For the feminine (emotional / spiritual aspect of both men & women) this influence may highlight a need to cease investing emotional energy in relationships with men who are unable to de-armour & express their heart's truth & embrace you wholeheartedly.

For the masculine, (rational / practical aspect of both men & women) it presents us with an opportunity to leave oppressive structures such as jobs, marriages or mortgages (as in mortuary) that are essentially killing us to pursue your heart's truth & 'sol' gifts. With the masculine planet for action, Mars retrograde in Leo (the sign of the King) until March 10 this may translate as the research & planning phase of future outward empowering action to assume authority over one's own domain.

And unlike the retro silent macho heroes, John Wayne & Clint Eastwood the old coping mechanism of keeping your cards close to your chest to protect your heart may now suddenly backfire as you find yourself imprisoned within a facade that's more machine than human, like Darth. (The black hole sephirot in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life which literally means father in Dutch).

Fortunately, with Mercury going direct with the new moon, clear & effective communication will be much easier.

Consider perhaps, a night journeying through Pink Floyd's, 'Dark Side of Moon' while watching 'Wizard of Oz' & scry into the parable of your own analogous story so you may 'Unchain your Heart' to quote soul man, Joe Cocker & begin expressing your heart's truth to anchor the new paradigm of the Earth Father (who unlike the distant sky father, Zeus) is present in the heart, by being open & engaging with life. An archetype which the essence of the Christ embodied within our collective matrix 2000 years ago to be awakened at this time within our consciousness.

Later in the month, Jupiter (planet of expansion) moves into Pisces (the wise mystic) Jan 17 assisting us to make conscious choices based on reflection of our past life lessons.

And then the majestic lunar energy of Leo (the Queen) will wax into a full blue moon Jan 30, (the 2nd full moon within the month) but with conjunct Mars retrograde opposite both Sun & Venus in Aquarius any hopes of being pleasantly surprised with a bold, romantic gesture may be ultimately realized as hopeless, 'castles in the sky' so instead, take action on celebrating all that you have with those you love.
