Greetings Divine Beings!

Well, it’s new moon in Libra on Sunday but given that it will shift into Scorpio later that night & build to a full moon in Scorpio, the overriding energy will be deep & transformational. Full moon will be on Nov 3 (Melbourne Cup Day) making Bart Cumming’s horses, (a scorp) strong contenders for those who spill over their golden pesos to the TAB.

We also have the sabbat of Beltane this month on Oct 31st, (Halloween in the northern hemisphere) & the rites of Spring down under. Already, many will have felt the spotlight on partnerships during the past month as we experienced the sun in Libra. Now as the sun prepares to enter Scorpio we will feel that energy intensify as we seek greater truth, intimacy & passion. If you are not currently in an intimate relationship this is a good time to confront blocks to intimacy, especially by reviewing the lesson of the previous sign of Libra & considering where your life is out of balance. I will be doing a workshop to that end this Sat at the Maya festival & following it up with a transformational ceremony for Beltane on Oct 30. (For details see below). For those in intimate partnerships, Lilith will probably announce, ‘Honey, we need to talk.’

In addition, Venus entered Libra on Oct 14 & will be square Pluto in Capricorn till the day after new moon. This will have further highlighted the shadow of many relationship dynamics, notably stuck patterns of dysfunctional dependency & with Mars also transiting through Cancer (the Mother) many women will take action to end patterns of mothering their partners.

However, the new moon also forms an air trine with Jupiter, Chiron & Neptune & Venus will also form an air trine to Jupiter in mid-October making this a very favourable time for women to communicate their needs to restore balance & harmony. Jupiter is currently in Aquarius, helping us to expand into the new consciousness & whilst its movement will be slow in october when Libra asks us to consider us to think before acting, mid-November will see Jupiter move considerably faster, enabling us to break free of any limiting involvements.

How we function in relationships will be given further thought as Saturn enters Libra at the end of the month, causing many of us to ponder both our social responsibilities to self & others & restructure our social networks, business partnerships & marriages accordingly.  This is all part of the big picture shift into wholeness as we become more self aware of our own duality & learn to dance with others out of choice rather than need.

Maya Festival: Activating the Twin Serpent hosted by Tanishka
Given that black moon, Lilith is currently conjunct our collective North Node (the direction in which we're all headed). Tanishka will speak about how this archetype of the serpent who awakens us to knowledge & how she is likely to affect us in our personal lives. Participants will then journey inwardly (yin meditation) to meet their inner feminine & masculine to ascertain where there are blocks & imbalances so they meet in perfect balance at the ajna chakra (third eye.) Followed this will be an active (yang) dance meditation to activate the twin serpent to clear all resistance to the alignment with our divine essence & truth. N.B.
