Greetings Divine Beings!
 
This Sunday, July 11 is a total Solar eclipse, a time of new beginnings (to balance the lunar eclipse we had recently which had us questioning what needed to be let go of). To have this coupled with the new moon makes this a very powerful time to seed new intentions.

With the moon in its ruling sign of Cancer casting a shadow over the solar rays of the sun we may first have to confront our fears in order to transcend them. This eclipse is conjunct the asteroid, Deborah (who was a prophetess & an old testament judge) so we are being called within to listen to the subtle senses within if we wish to create a fair external reality.

Health...
The eclipse forms a sextile to Mars in Virgo making this a time of taking positive action on health & well being routines, this may mean that we get frustrated enough to do something about our lack of sacred space & practices or release old toxic habits. It will also guide us toward being resourceful in finding fair & equitable solutions using practical commonsense to relieve tension in every area of our lives.

Relationships...
With Venus in opposition to Lilith we will be called to honour self & others by acknowledging how our shadow diminishes our ability to love, which will further be exacerbated by Jupiter in opposition to Pluto, asking us to expand by transforming rather than being evasive & secretive when our shadow is seen & named. But with Venus trine Pluto, if worked with consciously, both of these influences offer the key to creating a new chapter free of old saboteurs...kind of like lancing a boil, not romantic but necessary for long-term comfort.

With Uranus square Pluto we may feel as if our shadow keeps jumping out at us from behind a curtain but if we can embrace our fears we will view this momentary panic as a 'surprise' party for our rebirth rather than refusing to come to the party. Fortunately with Jupiter/Uranus trine Mercury we'll find it helpful to talk about the sudden changes we are undergoing & communication with our Higher Self will also be aided by this aspect.

Further assisting us to balance our dual nature & dance more harmoniously with our opposite is that the eclipse occurs directly on Castor, one of the twin stars that make up the constellation for Gemini. Castor is synonymous with the sun God, Apollo who is an optimist & offers a positive approach to solving problems, unlike his brother Pollux who is more prone to strike out before negotiating. Ultimately, Castor is best known for taming horses which represent our personal power.

Personal Power & Success...
In the Mythic Tarot by Juliet Shaman-Burke & Jungian astrologer, Liz Greene the twins represent the double-edged sword of the mind so this eclipse may highlight how we must harness our own thinking process by first viewing the old defeatist negative expectations formed in childhood in the light of understanding leading to a fresh approach.

So if you find yourself feeling stressed, impatient or worried consider pulling an oracle card for insight or listening instead of reacting to criticisms over the coming week...because the pay off for shifting your old unconscious illusions is unimpeded motion, increased passion, power & vitality for the coming six months!

Equally, befriend the element of water until July 22 - drink & take essences to balance your emotional well being, bathe to relax more deeply, enabling you to better reflect upon the fears & emotions that are the hidden impulses behind your actions & you'll be better placed to move forward with playful optimism when the sun shifts into Leo rather than acting impulsively from fear & living to regret it.

And for the Greater Good...
Fortunately, on July 21st Saturn moves into Libra again for 3 years offering us a spirit of peaceful co-operation to restructure all that supports us. Many will feel moved to take action on creating community minded projects after July 29 when Mars moves into Libra.

With the moon waxing to full in Aquarius on July 25 we will be more open to innovative ideas for future plans inspiring our creativity & assuming greater self stewardship & owning our vision to lead in the new paradigm.

Shake your thang in the morning, smile & pull faces at children in shopping trolleys, stop to greet animals with some furry love on the pavement, chant om in rush hour traffic & public amenities & welcome the return of the light!

Women's Rite of Passage Ceremony Facilitator Course. Level Two & Three with Tanishka.
The following training modules are for those who have completed the module one Rite of Passage facilitator course.

Level Two: Anchoring Sacred Union Around the Solar Wheel. In this training module I teach participants how to conduct sacred ceremonies for both men & women wanting to consciously understand & embrace the archetypal forces evoked at each of the 8 seasonal chakras known as the Sabbats or Wheel of Eight.
