Unveiling the Crown Jewels of the GoddessPosted on Tuesday, May 17th 2011 at 3:27 am
Those of you who have read my book, ‘The Inner Goddess Makeover’ will be familiar with the story of Ishtar, the mythical Queen
of Heaven who must descend to the human realms to assist her sister to birth (a symbolic retelling of our own journey to incarnate from the celestial realms).
But to make this journey she must surrender her 7 divine jewels which represent her regal powers & enter the Underworld butt naked & vulnerable, as is the local custom for us all!
Whilst this descent nearly kills her, she does manage to dispel the 7 veils of illusion & remember her true self & in doing so, ascends again to her rightful place on the throne of Heaven. As a result of her courage & tenacity her 7 ‘meys’ the 7 pieces of royal crown jewellery are restored, denoting that so too are her extra-sensory gifts.
To honour & celebrate this journey of conscious descent so many women are making as they journey through the pages of my Tantric workbook, a step-by-step map to dispelling the 7 veils of illusion to reclaim your authentic truth at each of the 7 gates I have been inspired to design & have custom made 7 pieces of unique Tantric Goddess jewellery to adorn each of the 7 chakras.
Each is encrusted with the healing stone / crystal for it’s associated chakra (energy center) & can be worn individually or as a full set. Ideal for brides who are initiates of Ishtar to wear naked on their wedding night or at full moon to dance naked for their beloved wearing only the 7 meys!
The piece honouring the Serpentine Goddess, Lilith (pictured right) is now available in my online shop & a new piece of designer chakra Goddess jewellery will be unveiled each month to correspond with the ancient wedding festival of Beltane here in the Southern hemisphere in November.
May you adorn yourself as the Divine Goddess that you are!
