Many will have noticed the date 11:11 appearing with synchronicity on their clocks, odometers & so forth, a phenomenon which has birthed a global movement known as 11:11. This awakening code is a call to remember our oneness, the lesson of the Aquarian Age, (the astrological age known also as the Age of Light which we are now entering.)
Given we are in the year 2011, we are each being prodded by the Universe (our collective Higher Intelligence) to awaken our true self by identifying & mastering the lessons of our lower chakras. This awakens our energy & consciousness as we become more self-aware as we raise our kundalini (life force) up through each of our 7 chakras.
There are three major channels, one yin (feminine) & one yang (masculine) known as the twin serpents, which entwine around a central pillar of light up our spinal cord creating the ancient healing symbol known as the caduceus which is the iconic healing staff used by the medical community worldwide as a symbol for medicine.
The master number 11, denotes an awakened being who has activated the twin serpents of life force representing their inner yin & yang polarities, creating an inner marriage of opposites & a state of wholeness & healing.
Having just transited through three eclipses which took us into our extreme polarities of yin & yang, as we approach this auspicious date of 11:11:11 I am noticing how old feuds fuelled by polarised thinking is surfacing to be examined in the light of our new Earth consciousness so we may heal our judgement of other & find our commonality or oneness.
For example, I recently noticed a post on Facebook where an author unwittingly incited a tirade of righteous anger from her followers by stating that she would give up her intolerance toward Christians only when they removed the passage from their Bible stating it was ok to kill a witch.
I suggested that we could always find justifications to hold on to our own righteous judgement & anger or choose to forgive them. She responded by saying she forgave them several times a day or would burn down their churches the way they burnt her temples.
It occurs to me here that restraint is not forgiveness – that persecuting others with our words rather than pitchforks & fire torches is still persecution. The irony being that if we refuse to see ourselves in our perceived enemy, we embody the very qualities we are rejecting & denouncing.
And as Lilith, the Rainbow serpent is rising from Mother Earth’s belly, awakening the kundalini in all of us, we are each coming face to face with our own shadow, as all that has not been understood or healed is brought into the light of understanding.
We cannot escape it – whether we are actively seeking a path of enlightenment or just living in these times of accelerated energetic frequencies the exposure of how dualistic thinking creates discord is all around us. Whether it’s watching the children’s retelling of Romeo & Juliet, ‘Gnomeo & Juliet’ which ends with love prevailing unlike the original, the critically acclaimed SBS doco series, ‘Go Back Where You Came From’ journeying with Australians who stood in judgement of refugees who then courageously stood in their shoes by living in camps in war torn countries to find their shared sense of humanity & empathy or TV forums such as Insight or Can of Worms bringing opposites together to air their differences & bury the hatchet, pop culture including social media is allowing us to explore our polarities to find the common ground.
